1. Introduction

Welcome to mykiranam.in Hyperlocal Marketplace ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Marketplace Services

MyKiranam acts as a bridge between local Kirana stores (sellers) and customers. We do not own, sell, or control the products offered by sellers. Any issues with product quality or availability must be resolved directly with the seller.

4. Pricing, Fees, and Payments

Registration & Login Fees: Creating an account, logging in, and using the platform is completely free (₹0) for both customers and sellers. We do not charge any onboarding, subscription, or registration fees.

Order Pricing: All product prices are determined directly by the respective local sellers. MyKiranam does not charge a platform fee. Instead, to ensure the safety and commitment of orders, we require a small advance payment (e.g., 10% of the total order value) which is clearly displayed to the customer during the checkout process. This advance secures the order for the seller.

We use secure third-party payment gateways (such as PhonePe) for processing transactions. You agree to pay all charges explicitly shown to you before confirming your order.

Business Model

MyKiranam is a local kirana marketplace platform where customers can place orders from nearby kirana stores, receive quotations from sellers, make payments online, and collect their orders directly from the store.

Purpose of PhonePe Payment Gateway

We require PhonePe Payment Gateway for:

PhonePe Integration Flow

  1. Customer places an order.
  2. Seller reviews the order and provides the final quotation.
  3. Customer makes payment through PhonePe.
  4. MyKiranam receives payment confirmation through Webhooks and Status APIs.
  5. Seller receives payment confirmation.
  6. Seller prepares and packs the order.
  7. Customer receives an "Order Ready" notification.
  8. Customer visits the store and picks up the order.

5. Delivery Model

Currently, MyKiranam follows a Self-Pickup Model.

6. Payment Settlement Model

  1. Customer pays through PhonePe Payment Gateway.
  2. Funds are settled to the MyKiranam merchant account as per PhonePe settlement policies (T+1 or T+2 working days).
  3. MyKiranam reconciles successful transactions.
  4. Seller-wise settlement reports are generated.
  5. MyKiranam transfers seller payments to their registered bank accounts.
  6. MyKiranam charges a 1% platform commission on successful sales.
  7. Remaining amount is settled to the seller.

Example:
Seller Sales = ₹10,000
Platform Commission (1%) = ₹100
Seller Settlement = ₹9,900

7. Customer Cancellation Policy

To reduce fake orders and repeated cancellations:

First 3 Cancellations

After 3 cancellations:

If a customer cancels an order after seller preparation or does not pick up the prepared order:

To continue ordering, the customer must again maintain a new Refundable Customer Commitment Deposit.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms or engaging in fraudulent activities.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
